"I’m very confident," Honnold has said. But Netflix has discussed every possibility, including catastrophe
Calling all adrenaline junkies, Netflix has a broadcast specifically for you this week. Well, it's specifically for adrenaline junkies who are probably not also stressed out by heights. On Friday, professional climber Alex Honnold will be scaling his next mountain — except it's not a mountain.
In a recent trailer for Skyscraper Live, Honnold’s wife, Sanni McCandless, acknowledged people’s concerns about her husband free-soloing now that he’s a father to two young children. “This is who Alex is,” McCandless said.
Coincidentally (and morbidly), it's exactly as long as a free fall from the top of Taipei 101 would take.
Alex Honnold triumphed in his free solo climb of the Taipei 101 skyscraper on Netflix on Saturday night, but the platform had a plan in play during its entire livestream in case the climb turned tragic.
