Journalist Don Lemon charged with federal civil rights crimes after covering anti-ICE church protest
Journalist Don Lemon has been released from custody after being charged with federal civil rights crimes in connection with an anti-immigration enforcement protest that disrupted services at a Minnesota church.
Christian pastors condemned anti-ICE protesters who stormed a Minnesota church during a Sunday worship service, calling it an attack on religious liberty.
The indictment (in U.S. v. Levy-Armstrong) is here. The allegations are that defendants violated 18 U.S.C. § 241 which
"Any violation of federal law will be prosecuted," Attorney General Bondi said.
