1.6.26 | Queens - During operations at Queens 5th Alarm Box 4037, a window air conditioner plummeted from the 3rd floor, hitting a member operating below it in the head. Rescue 4 “hook” transmitted a Mayday for a member down in the front of the building, requesting EMS forthwith to assist. The firefighter was transported to the hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. 4 other firefighters were also hospitalized.
