The Australian mango industry is intensifying! Intensification of tropical tree crops (producing more fruit per unit of land) is a new and expanding area of research in Australia and overseas. Advances have already been made in the apple and pear industries, increasing yield from 10 tonnes per hectare, to 100 tonnes per hectare.
